| The District of Columbia Aquatics Club (DCAC) and the Washington Wetskins are proud to host this competition for a second time, particularly as 2008 marks the 20th anniversary of DCAC. Although a lot has changed since 1996 when IGLA was last in Washington, DC, the hospitality of DCAC, the Wetskins and Washingtonians still abounds. Of course, Washington offers much more than just memorials and monuments, politicians and parades; we are very proud to welcome the world to our great city. |

The four-day event will include swimming, water polo, diving, synchronized swimming and open-water swimming. Pool competition will take place at the Takoma Recreation Center in Washington, DC and at the world-class aquatics facility at the University of Maryland in nearby College Park, Maryland. |
