Registration is OPEN, IGLA 2008 Championships, Washington DC, June 19-22, 2008 |

The District of Columbia Aquatics Club and the Washington Wetskins Water Polo Team, are pleased to announce that registration for the 2008 IGLA Championships is now open. During the registration process you will be able to:
- Register for Diving, Swimming, Synchronized Swimming, & Water Polo
- Purchase tickets for the Closing Night Banquet & Dance Party
- Purchase Swim Meet T-shirts
- Sign Up for Hosted Housing & Hosted Dinners
- Learn about the various IGLA-related social events for the week

IGLA 2008 has instituted a graduated fee schedule that will provide cost savings to those who register by April 1, 2008. The fee schedule is displayed below:

Entries received after June 1, 2008, are not guaranteed and will be accepted at the discretion of the Competition Director. Registrations accepted after June 1, 2008, will be charged the additional Late Fee for all registered events. Additionally, we cannot guarantee placement in the meet program, or availability of banquet tickets, hosted housing, and hosted dinners for registrations accepted after June 1, 2008.

Nadadores of South Florida is Miami's Masters swim team. We are affiliated with U.S.M.S. (United States Masters Swimming) and I.G.L.A. (International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics). We hold pool practice four times per week, and we have a Sunday ocean swim. We welcome visitors to South Florida to join in as our guests. Your first swim is free.
Our mission:
Nadadores of South Florida is an athletic, social, and community-service oriented organization comprised of members and friends of the South Florida gay and lesbian community.Our mission is to promote participation in swimming, charity, and social interaction in our community regardless of race, creed, color or sexual orientation. Furthermore, we intend to positively represent the unique diversity of the South Florida community to other communities throughout the world through participation in competitive and social aquatic events.
Our name:
We are proud of our diversity. Our team has swimmers from Australia to Canada and from Europe to Chile. Many members are from Latin America. That's why we chose Nadadores as our team name. Nadadores is "swimmers" in Spanish. |
